Lenovo Z5s With Triple Rear Cameras, Snapdragon 710 SoC Unveiled

Lenovo Z5 was made available to the customers on Tuesday. The smartphone is the Chinese company’s latest premium mid-range offering and has several highlight features including a gradient colour design. It has a waterdrop-shaped display and a triple rear camera setup. The release date of Lenovo Z5 was announced at Beijing event by Lenovo. The Lenovo Z5s launch also saw the unveiling of two other smartphones.

And at its Beijing event, Lenovo also launched the Lenovo Z5 Pro GT with a massive 12GB of RAM. It is the brand’s new Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC. The Lenovo S5 Pro GT was also revealed by the company.

Lenovo Z5s price, availability, design

The customer can buy the Lenovo Z5 smartphone pricing starting from CNY 1,398 (roughly Rs. 14,400) for the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage option. It is CNY 1,598 (roughly Rs. 16,400) for the 6GB RAM + 64GB storage option, and CNY 1,898 (roughly Rs. 19,500) for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage option. The color options for LenovoZ5s are Honey Orange, Starry Black, and Titanium Crystal Blue. The smartphone will be up for sale on the Lenovo website. It will also be available on other online partnered sites. Reservations for the phone have already begun. The sale will commence on December 24.

If we talk about design, the Lenovo Z5s sports a waterdrop-shaped notch up front with no bezels on all sides. The smartphone is seen sporting a triple rear camera setup at the back stacked vertically with a flash sitting beneath the sensors, and a rear fingerprint sensor as well.

As for hardware, this smartphone runs on Android Oreo-based ZUI 10, and supports dual-SIM card slots. The smartphone sports a 6.3-inch (1080×2340 pixels) LTPS display with 92.6 percent screen-to-body ratio, 19.5:9 aspect ratio, and 450nits peak brightness. Furthermore, user will have the 2.2GHz Snapdragon 710 octa-core processor paired with Adreno 616 GPU, up to 6GB RAM and up to 128GB of inbuilt storage. Storage is further expandable using a hybrid microSD card slot (up to 256GB).

ANd if we talk for optics, the triple rear camera setup includes one 16-megapixel main sensor with 6P lens and f/1.8 aperture, an 8-megapixel camera as the secondary sensor, and a 5-megapixel camera as the third sensor. Up front, there is a 16-megapixel sensor again with f/2.0 aperture. Additionally, the features of the selfie camera include digital zoom, beauty filters, and more.

The Lenovo Z5s packs a 3,300mAh battery, and connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi hotspot, USB OTG, 3.5mm audio jack, 4G VoLTE, GPS, and more. Finally, the smartphone’s dimensions are at 156.7×74.5×7.85mm, and it weighs 172 grams.
