Vivo has launched a new smartphone – Vivo z3i – in China. The mid-range handset is essentially a rebranded variant of the Vivo V11 20,299 that came to India in September. It is similar to Vivo V11i. While the design and specifications of the smartphones are quite similar, there are a couple of changes under the hood. When it comes to the Vivo V11, the Vivo Z3i features are identical in terms of display, processor, RAM, and battery, but they differ when we consider the camera and inbuilt storage. The Vivo Z3i is a successor of the Vivo z11i that was a China-exclusive smartphone. In terms of design, the key features of the smartphone include a waterdrop display notch, bezel-less display, and a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.

As mentioned, Vivo has launched Vivo Z3i smartphone only in China. Its price is CNY 2,398 (roughly Rs. 25,600). Notably, the handset comes in Aurora Blue and Millennium Powder color variants. For comparison, the price of Vivo V11 in the  Indian market was  Rs. 22,990. Finally, after a recent price slash, it costs around Rs. 20,990.

The Vivo Z3i is powered by 2.2GHz octa-core processor and supports 6GB of RAM. The dual-SIM Vivo Z3i runs Funtouch OS giving the best Android 8.1 Oreo. Also, It comes with a Jovi voice assistant. It sports a 6.3-inch full-HD+ (1080×2280) Super AMOLED display with 19:9 aspect ratio and provied 90.3 percent screen-to-body ratio for a better usage. Interestingly, the smartphone is rather powered by the octa-core Mediatek Helio P60 processor paired with 6GB of RAM. All of these features resemble Vivo V11 that was launched in India.

As far as optics are concerned, the handset bears a dual camera setup with a 16-megapixel sensor and a 2-megapixel sensor. Further, if we recall, the Vivo V11 in India came with a dual rear camera setup with a 16-megapixel sensor and a 5-megapixel sensor. Meanwhile, at the front, it features a 24-megapixel camera, which is slightly different than the Vivo V11 that also has a 25-megapixel sensor. The user can enjoy 128GB of inbuilt storage. Moreover, it is expandable via microSD card slot (up to 256GB). Certainly, It is more than the Vivo V11 that had arrived with 64GB of inbuilt storage.

Connectivity options in the Vivo Z3i are 4G VoLTE, GPS, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0. The handset board sensors for an ambient light sensor, gyroscope, and proximity sensor. Interestingly, it comes with facial recognition technology and a fingerprint sensor as well. Also, there is a 3,315mAh battery at the disposal of the smartphone. It measures 155.97×75.63×8.1mm and weighs 163.7 grams.
