OnePlus 6T is expected to be launched in the next few weeks. An interesting piece of information hints that there is an invite for  India to launch of the OnePlus 6T slated for October 17. Interestingly, this invite has appeared on a Chinese social media website and not India. The latest tagline “Unlock The Speed” most likely points towards the presence of an in-display fingerprint sensor.

Pricing & Storage

As for pricing, earlier it appeared that the OnePlus 6T would continue the higher price trend and sport a price tag of $550 in the US, a slight increase from the OnePlus 6’s base price. Although, the OnePlus 6T price in India is not known yet.  Certainly, the price will be exclusive to Amazon India as per a teaser on the website.

This smartphone will most likely borrow a Snapdragon 845 SoC and RAM quantity of up to 8GB RAM from the OnePlus 6. As of now, the internal storage available shall be 64 GB.

Camera

A third camera sensor at the back, a departure from the dual rear camera are going to be the striking features of the device. The configuration of the back camera is 16Mp.

Special Features

With the launch of this device, Android 9.0 pie is expected to go out-of-the-box. The stunning features are the triple camera setup & a waterdrop-style notch. The notch is on the front with an in-display fingerprint sensor.

Apart from the launch date, country, and tagline, the invite gives out no other details around the OnePlus 6T.

Furthermore, The OnePlus 6T will not support a 3.5mm headphone jack. Rather, it will come bundled with a pair of USB Type-C earphones.
