Nokia 9 Renders, 360-Degree Video Show Penta-Camera Setup, Notch-Less Display

Nokia has again hit the market by launching its penta-camera smartphone. They have surfaced on high-quality renders and a 360-degree video. Some leak reports claimed the presence of five rear-facing camera sensors on the new Nokia flagship. The render shows the circular placement of the rear cameras along with the circular placement of the rear cameras along with a dual-tone LED flash and a dual-sensor that could be used for proximity detection. The camera comes with a Zeiss branding.

The design of the Nokia 9 is distinct from other Nokia phones, including the Nokia 8 Sirocco and Nokia 8. This smartphone is expected to have five camera sensors and seven rings at the back. It will be with a dual-tone LED flash and a dual sensor for proximity detection. The resolution of the sensors is yet to be revealed. The telephoto lens is expected with the release of penta-camera setup. There consists a wide-angle lens and a depth-sensing sensor among other. Zeiss logo can be seen between the camera sensors. The smartphone is expected to be launched with a price tag of Rs. 57,990.

The front side of the smartphone shows a thin-bezel display without having a notch design. Nokia logo is visible just above the display sensor. Type-C USB port and a loudspeaker grill albeit no 3.5mm headphone jack is also seen in the renders. There isn’t any optical fingerprint sensor. But, there comes a Face unlock feature that will unlock the screen by recognizing the face of the user.

The “Glass sandwich” design is present on the front and the back. A metal frame is visible in between. Since the back has a glass panel, it is safe to presume that the phone will have wireless charging support. Adding to it, the power/ lock button and volume rocker are available on the right, while a SIM card tray is available on the top. Further, if we talk about the dimensions, the smartphone will have 155x75x7.9mm. Three microphones have been embedded in this smartphone. One of the microphones comes at the bottom while the second one is integrated into the antenna band on the top edge and the third is located at the rear side.

If we talk about the software support, that would be Android Pie and this smartphone will feature a 6.01-inch display accompanied by a Gorilla Glass 5 Protection. The rumors even say that the smartphone would run on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC, coupled with 8GB of RAM and 256 GB of inbuilt storage. There could be single and dual-SIM options and a 4,150mAh battery.

While Nokia licensee brand HMD Global hasn’t revealed any details around the Nokia 9, it is speculated that the handset could debut sometime in early 2019. The company could use MWC 2019 as the place to give some information around the new model.
